The facilitators

As facilitators we lead SALT by affirming, challenging and making sense of the experiences people bring and encouraging them to do this with each other as we move towards a peer learning community. With ground rules in place we help people to work at the edge of their learning, often beyond their comfort zone, through supportive challenging.

As themes emerge we offer structures and exercises that will develop these and bring new perspectives. We raise awareness of the dynamics and processes in the group and how these might be a reflection of people’s experiences outside SALT.

Helen Turner
I have worked successfully for over 25 years as a coach, facilitator, trainer and consultant with groups and individuals in a variety of settings and enjoy supporting and challenging people as they work at the edge of their learning. Holding a post graduate qualification in Humanistic Psychology and Facilitation, I regularly continue my Professional Development, as I am an avid learner. Currently I offer coaching and facilitation services.

I am curious about understanding and empowering people and what helps them to develop. My experience and wisdom, awareness and intuition contribute to the insights I am able to bring to my work. I enjoy the energy of my humour and playfulness.

Trevor Sharman
I have worked for over 35 years in different organisations in a range of roles, as a senior manager, operational manager, team leader, trustee board member and as facilitator, coach and trainer and from these have wide experience of organisational and people management issues.

I am also interested in how we as humans develop and grow, so have explored a range of training and developmental opportunities and explorations for myself including completion of a postgraduate diploma in Humanistic Psychology and Facilitation. I continue to support and challenge my learning and development and currently work as an independent consultant and facilitator. I am committed to helping people and organisations realise and achieve their potential in living authentically and sustainably.
